DISABILITY INSURANCE

Bluestaq provides 100% employer-paid Short and Long Term Disability Insurance for employees. 
Short-term Disability: A continuation of 60% of current wages to a maximum benefit up to a maximum per week amount. 
Long-term Disability: A continuation of 60% of basic monthly earnings to an up to a maximum per monthly amount.

Bluestaq provides 100% employer-paid life Insurance for employees. Bluestaq provides a base benefit of $100,000 and Supplemental life of $100,000 for a total of $200,000 in life insurance.

ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Bluestaq provides 100% employer-paid accident Insurance for employees. If you pull an endo over your mountain bike handlebars and break your arm, our accident insurance will give you an additional payout to cover any hardships you encounter.

Bluestaq provides 100% employer-paid hospital indemnity Insurance for employees.

401(k)

Automatic enrollment into a 401(k) the day an employee starts. This benefit is offered to all full-time employees, with no vesting period required.

401(k) MATCHING

All employees receive an automatic monthly contribution from Bluestaq of 4% of their base salary into the 401k account, and we match 100% up to an additional 6%.  Bluestaq’s total contribution is 10%.

PERFORMANCE BONUS

Bluestaq offers a yearly performance bonus depending on the company and individual performance.  Our year-end bonuses are very competitive with the industry best.  We want every employee to know their contribution to the team is recognized and appreciated.

We host an annual family day in the summer for all family members.  Family Day is a chance for our team members to introduce their families and/or their better halves to the rest of the team and get to know one another.

Bluestaq will provide eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave to employees who meet the eligibility requirements.

Bluestaq is a proud supporter of the military and we proud to support any of our teammates serving as reservists in the military.

PERSONAL TIME OFF

Bluestaq offers every full-time employee 20 days off each year. Bluestaq will buy back any unused PTO at the end of each year.

Bluestaq offers 8 paid holidays a year.  Bluestaq holidays align with the significant calendar holidays to include two days during Thanksgiving and 2 days during Christmas.

Full-time Bluestaq employees are eligible for paid bereavement leave of up to 3 days for an immediate family member or 1 day for near relatives

DRESS CODE

Bluestaq’s dress code is simple - Dress appropriately for your Bluestaq role, responsibilities, and duties you are expected to carry out each day.  For most of the team, that means casual all the time.  If you are briefing POTUS wear your fancy duds. If you aren’t expected to see anyone outside of Bluestaq, feel free to wear your bike jersey and bike shorts all day, but please practice hygiene responsibly.

At Bluestaq, we believe in work-life balance. Whether it's an aerial show, TopGolf, Whirlyball, bowling, BBQs, throwing a baseball or taking a walk, getting out and having fun is great for the team and your mental health. Bluestaq tries to coordinate quarterly outings for the team to cut loose and relax.

GAME ROOM

We work hard and we play hard. It is impossible to stare at a computer screen for 8 straight hours. We encourage our employees to take a periodic break, challenge a co-worker to to a Foosball match, practice your putts, play a round on the arcade game, or throw a baseball. In our office you will find putting flags, hover-boards, an arcade cabinet and a Foosball table…GAME ON!

SOME MEALS PROVIDED

We have a team breakfast every second Thursday. During the summers we have Wednesday burger burns, where our interns cook burgers and brats for the team, and periodically we treat the team to a lunch out or a lunch in depending on the mood of the team.

We have weekly happy hours hosted at one of our favorite places around the corner where we encourage the entire team to join if they can and enjoy the relaxed conversation and a few laughs.

SNACK BAR

Energy is important, and we don’t want hangry team members. Bluestaq keeps a fully stocked snack bar loaded with the teams favorite drinks, snacks, protein bars, gummy bears, red vines, nerds, lifesavers, fruit snacks, nut bars, rice krispie treats, trail mix, nuts, animal crackers or sea weed chips if your are on a keto diet. The snack bar is free and available at anytime to any member of the team.
